The Ioline Cobra 60 is a carbide vinyl cutter blade with a 60 degree cutting angle and a 1.18mm offset, made for Ioline Cobra series cutters. It is sold as a single blade or as a 5 pack.
When to use this blade
A 60 degree blade is for material a 45 degree standard blade struggles with: thick films, sandblast stencil and resist, and heavy reflective sheeting. The steeper angle puts a longer cutting edge into the material, so it cuts through thicker stock at a reasonable down force and holds detail better in that stock. For everyday calendered and cast sign vinyl, a 45 degree standard blade is the normal choice and will last longer in that use. Pick this blade when the material is the problem, not the design.
Compatibility and specs
Fits Ioline Cobra cutters. Angle 60 degrees, offset 1.18mm, carbide. Blade offset is the distance from the center of the blade shaft to the cutting tip, and the cutter or its software needs the same value entered so corners close cleanly. Set the offset to match this blade and check a small test cut before running a job. When cutting sandblast material, set depth so the blade just scores the liner, and run a test square to confirm the stencil weeds without pulling.
