The Mutoh XP Standard 45 is a carbide vinyl cutter blade with a 45 degree cutting angle and a 0.50mm offset, made for Mutoh XP Series cutters. It is sold as a single blade or as a 5 pack.
When to use this blade
This is the everyday blade for a Mutoh XP. A 45 degree angle handles calendered and cast sign vinyl, standard lettering and contour cutting on printed media without special setup. For thick or sandblast stencil material and heavy reflective, use the Mutoh XP Sandblast 60, which has a steeper angle for getting through heavier stock. If you only stock one blade for the cutter, this is the one, with the 60 degree blade as the backup for heavy material.
Compatibility and specs
Fits Mutoh XP Series cutters. Angle 45 degrees, offset 0.50mm, carbide. Blade offset is the distance from the center of the blade shaft to the cutting tip, and the cutter or its software needs the same value entered so corners close cleanly. Set the offset to match this blade and check a small test cut before running a job. Replace the blade when cut lines stop separating cleanly at the ends or small interior pieces begin lifting on the cutter.
