Floor Graphic Vinyl

Floor graphics are a two-part system: a printable base vinyl and a slip-rated overlaminate. The base films are 3.4 mil matte white vinyl with removable adhesive, one for sealed tile and hard floors and a high-tack version for carpet, both rated for six months of removability indoors. The laminates are clear films with a UL 410 slip resistance classification, and the laminate is what makes the graphic a floor graphic; the printed vinyl alone is not rated for foot traffic. Four are listed: 3 mil gloss clear, 3.75 mil embossed non-glare polypropylene, 5 mil scratch-resistant textured matte and 6 mil gloss clear. They also cover counter mats and tabletop graphics.

How to choose

Pick the base film by the floor. 3.4mil Matte White Floor Graphic Vinyl, Removable Adhesive goes on tile, sealed concrete and finished hard floors; 3.4mil Matte White Carpet Graphic Vinyl, Removable Adhesive has the higher tack needed on low-pile carpet. Then choose a laminate for the traffic and the look. 6.0mil Gloss Clear Floor & Carpet Laminate (UL-Certified) is the heaviest, for aisles and entries. 5.0mil Scratch-Resistant Floor Graphic Laminate (UL-Certified) has a textured matte surface that hides scuffs. 3.75mil Embossed Clear Floor & Counter Laminate (UL-Certified) is the non-glare choice for short-term decals and counter mats and is approved for indirect food contact. 3.0mil Gloss Clear Floor Laminate (UL-Certified) is the lightest gloss option. None of these films are rated for outdoor use.
