Specialty Printable Films

Specialty films are the printable and decorative films that do not fit a standard sign, decal or wall category: dry erase laminates, chalkboard vinyl, etched-glass privacy film, opaque cover-up vinyl and pre-slit striping vinyl. The dry erase laminates go over a printed base vinyl to make a writable board, the chalkboard and etched-glass films are the finished surface on their own, and the cover-up vinyl goes under a new print to hide what was there before.

How to choose

2.0mil Gloss Clear Dry-Erase Laminate, Commercial Grade is a hard-coated polyester laminate that turns a printed graphic into a dry erase board rated for heavy daily use in schools, hospitals and conference rooms. 2.0mil Gloss Clear Dry-Erase Laminate, Short-Term (P.O.P.) is the lighter version for promotional graphics used up to six months. 5.0mil Matte Black Chalkboard Vinyl, High-Tack Removable Adhesive is a black writable film for menu boards and interactive walls that takes soft chalk and chalk markers; it is not made for solvent, eco-solvent or latex printing and is usually plotter cut. 3.0mil Etched-Glass Privacy Print Vinyl, Air-Egress gives glass doors and partitions a frosted look and takes print. 3.5mil Matte White Opaque Block-Out Cover-Up Vinyl, High-Tack Permanent Adhesive covers an existing graphic or dark substrate and is not meant to come off. Pro Series Vinyl Stripping | Pre-Slit Rolls in 50+ Colors is colored striping vinyl already slit to width.

Rolls are 15, 20, 24, 30 and 54 in by 150 ft, with 60 in on the chalkboard, etched-glass and cover-up films.
